Owner and Founder Joshua Dugan cut his teeth in recording studios in Los Angeles where he honed his ear for truly great sound as well as learning what it takes to achieve it—from signal path to wall treatments. Since 1999 he has been involved in various professional audio and video fields from large scale concert Audio/Visual to studio monitor(speaker) manufacturing at Event Electronics, LLC. At Event Electronics he mentored under Walter K. Dick (Former head of JBL’s Transducer Engineering Department), one of the legends of loud speaker engineering. Joshua's love for Santa Barbara kept him here and led him into Home Electronics Integration and the founding of Acoustics and Light.
